The following virtual courses are 2 hour sessions for 20 weeks with supplemental material and homework. These courses cover the fundamentals and real-life applications of their corresponding topic and include project based assesments. We encourage students to take courses they are interested even if they are not taking that course at their school. These programs are designed to be suitable for any student in middle school.
Algebra with Cayla and Eli: 9 - 11 AM Saturdays
Description: Algebra I incorporates a variety of topics such as different equations (linear, quadratic, exponential), statistics, sequences, and functions. Throughout this course, we will break down each topic to have an in depth understanding of fundemental algebraic concepts.
Biology with Angelo and Lixin: 9 - 11 AM Sundays
Description: Biology or Living Environment deals with the study of life, and how living and nonliving things interact. In this course, we will explore a wide range of topics, spanning from the origin of life, to the chemistry of living processes, and finally to genetics.
English with Sophia and Leah: 3 - 5 PM Saturdays
Description: In English, students will select, read, and break down various texts—such as novels, personal essays, etc—with the objective of essay writing. By the end of this course, students will master the art of essay writing and advanced grammatical concepts.
